a few days ago, someone told me that we should not only do our best, but also, do everything for His best. thank u for e reminder. =)
i figured i shld blog this down before i forget haha.. windsurf camp was fun, albeit tiring! with all the late-night macs delivery and mahjong sessions, etc i came back home w dark rings, aching arms and thighs.. oh and before i forget, an additional 1kg. =(
my virgin surfing experience! what particularly struck me while i was balancing on the Fat Mama ( its the term that they used for the board that u are supposed to stand on), u gotta take ur time, find ur stable position before u can start pulling up the haul and start surfing. because if u dont, u will find urself struggling to balance on the board and end up falling.. and u waste even much strength trying to pull that haul again and again ( it is quite heavy btw, so if keep falling, u gotta keep balancing on the board again and pull it again before u can surf).in the beginning, i was so gan chiong abt wanting to surf out that i started pulling the haul even when i wasnt really in my stable position yet.. (this resulted in me falling numerous times and i ended up drinking lotsa salt water.) kinda reminded me abt the importance of having a firm foundation and how crucial it is to be grounded in God first because it is really easy to fall away and 'lose' ur sense of direction. in the end, u'll end up feeling lost, u question ur identity in Him and it gets u further and further away, all in the wrong direction.
sigh.. one 2000-word essay gonna due nex week, and one sickening grp assignment that i have zero idea on how to go abt doing. HOW???? *cries*
and i am upset! the slippers i got from bkk has mysteriously disappeared!! some1 mus hav stolen it..irrits! but maybe this will make me feel less guilty abt buying the lovely pink slim havianas that i've been eyeing for sometime.. =)
